Lazy Days

Had a nice weekend :0) Yesterday (saturday) Aaron and I went shopping for patio furniture and found quite the deal at kohls! We are almost done with remodeling and furnishing this damn condo! That is said with excitement with a hint of frustration bc it has been kind of a stressful year remodeling this place. Its really starting to feel like a home, our home that we are pretty proud of. Anyhoo I went antiquing with my friend Shannon today looking for items that we never found but had fun looking anyway. We were at the orange circle down by Chapman University. I love all those little antique shops down there. We stopped in to Haven Gastro pub for lunch and ordered their infamous home-made potato chips. Those little buggers are heaven on earth! hehe. As for now I am watching my husband put together the patio furniture. Just now as I am writing this post I look over at him and he catches my eye and says,"I like putting things together" lol I love that man, he enjoys the simple things in life!

Summer!

Memorial Day has given us a taste of summer! Its gonna be a great season with lots of get togethers and events. We have a family camping trip to Tahoe in July and the Hughes family hasn't been to Tahoe all together since Aaron and I got engaged in the summer of 06. Kyle has never been to Tahoe so this will be an awesome trip and experience for the newly weds as well. Grandma Janet is turning 90 this summer and her Birthday celebration will be lots of fun! Other than that the condo is pretty much done so we will be having more family and friends over :) I also will be taking a meteorology class over the summer so that will keep my brain working till the fall but I'm grateful for the break and the fun times to be had in the coming months!
